This course is designed for students who need to sharpen their skills or serve as a resource that teachers can employ to help struggling students stay up to speed. In this course, Professor Terry Caliste, an instructor with infectious energy and enthusiasm, helps students learn to understand and compare the properties of exponents including the rules for exponents, zero and negative exponents and scientific notation.

  • About The Author
    Terry Caliste currently teaches mathematics at Hackensack High School in Hackensack, New Jersey. Formerly an adjunct professor of mathematics at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, Mr. Caliste skillfully simplifies difficult math concepts and encourages his students with his infectious enthusiasm to work smarter, not harder. This course was produced in association with Human Relations Media, a leading K-12 publisher of supplemental educational products in the United States.
