The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 brought with it a complex set of challenges that face employers who wish to avoid discrimination against the disabled in the workplace. | About The Author |
Ralph C. Pond is a partner at the law firm Lane Powell Spears Lubersky in Seattle Wash., and
co-chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group. In twenty years of practice, Pond has successfully
defended hundreds of employment claims before federal and state courts and agencies. He has also argued a
number of significant employment cases to state and federal appellate courts, yielding published decisions
favorable to employers. Ralph is a 1981 cum laude graduate of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham
Young University. He is also a regular seminar speaker on employment law topics.
