Eligibility:

To be considered, each school must complete the application and submit it no later than December 15, 2007. Participation for the 2007/2008 school year will be limited to five schools. Selected schools will receive email notification by January 15, 2007. Selection will be based on needs and problem statements in the application. Rules:

Schools must be selected to participate and each eligible* student's name will need to be submitted within 30 days after selection is made. For student to receive their incentive, the teacher will assume the responsibility of notifying LearnKey that a course was completed by notifying LearnKey that the scores are in the LMS for review, or by sending certificates of completion, exam scores, or projects (see specific rules under "IC³ Student Incentives").

IC³ Scholarship

In order to be eligible to receive a $1000 college scholarship from LearnKey, an enrolled student must pass the IC³ exam at a testing facility. Their teacher must send the results of the exam to LearnKey.

In addition to the test results, the student must write a 500-word essay on how they have benefited from the IC³ curriculum. Their teacher must send in the student's original 500-word essay. Representatives from the LearnKey and CertiPort will judge the entries and select the winners.

To prepare for the IC³ Certification testing LearnKey will provide an online training course and LearnKey's test prep software IC³ MasterExam. Each eligible student must take the MasterExam* test and pass with an 80% or above in order to receive the testing vouchers for the IC³ Certification.

It is the responsibility of the teacher, on behalf of their student, to submit the appropriate MasterExam scores (80% or above on LearnKey's MasterExam) and then request an IC³ voucher from LearnKey. LearnKey will send IC³ vouchers for all three exams (Living OnLine, Computer Fundamentals, and Key Applications) via electronic format.

All entries for the scholarship must be received no later than March 31, 2008. Entries received after this date will not be considered. Incomplete entries are also invalid.

The winners of the five college scholarships will be announced in June 2008.
