Custom Training Programs to Fit your Organization
In May of 2008, LearnKey officially moved video production from St. George, UT to Salt Lake City. While our corporate office remains in St. George, our new building is a 15,000 square feet state of the art HD digital video production facility.This new facility is aimed to benefit our own production, as well as the "custom training" market that has been successful for LearnKey in years past. Our custom projects have not really been public knowledge simply because we did not have the resources to accommodate them on the scale we are ready for now. LearnKey knows the importance of being engaged in the learning process and has invested in a studio that will help deliver the video training in exciting and dynamic ways. "Video always has been, and always will be central to what LearnKey does," says John Clemons, owner and founder of LearnKey. "This is a giant step in securing the ability to do things with video production that will bring our customers new opportunities to work with LearnKey to address their custom needs."
"We’ve come a long way since we first turned our cameras on in the new building last year. Since then, we’ve remodeled our main studio, control room, and green room. We have what is possibly the largest blue-screen in the region at 20’ x 80’ with a supplemental blue-screen to cover the floor. This enables us to do amazing work that we are only just starting to scratch the surface on." Says Scott Nebeker, Video Director
"For example," says Ammon Wiese, Director of Production, "we have done custom training for the U.S. Navy where we went on location to a naval base and created training for the use of various rifles and handguns. This video training has provided gun safety training to over 310,000 soldiers in the Navy and its affiliates serving our country. With the size of the new blue screen and warehouse studio, we could bring in an armored tank for the Army and shoot video in the comfort of our studio… Transporting the tank may be an issue, but we could fit it in the studio!"
With the Salt Lake International Airport literally only 5-10 minutes away, this new studio hopes to attract not just local customers, but continue catering to existing clients and new national and international parties interested in producing high quality video training segments, or even commercial advertisements for broadcast on the web or television.
