Medical Coding

In addition to developing the professional skills necessary for accurate medical coding, including the International classification of Disease (ICD-9) and U.S. developed Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), this course will help students prepare to sit for the American Health Information Management Association�s (AHIMA) Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam. This course requires no other prerequisite than a GED level educational background and either a familiarity with medical terminology, or the successful completion of our Medical Terminology course.
