Solution:
1) Open Windows Media Player by clicking Start>Programs>Windows Media Player 2) Hold the ALT+T keys in order to access Tools>Options 3) Click the "Performance " tab 4) Check the box for "Drop frame to keep audio and video synchronized " 5) Uncheck the box for "Turn on Direct X video acceleration for WMV files " 6) Click "Apply " 7) Click the "Network " tab 8) Near the top of the page under Protocols for MMS URLs there are three boxes: deselect "RTSP/UDP " and "RTSP/TCP " leave only "HTTP " checked 9) Click "Apply " 10) Click "OK " 11) Close Windows Media and verify your course is running properly (For Windows XP) Try lowering the Windows Media Player Video acceleration and check the Network settings. 1) Open Windows Media Player by clicking Start>Programs>Windows Media Player 2) Hold the ALT+T keys in order to access Tools>Options 3) Click the "Performance " tab 4) Near the bottom of the window, you will see a video acceleration slide bar. Move the slider to a lower setting (we recommend moving the slider to the middle) 5) Click "Apply " 6) Click the "Network " tab 7) Near the top of the page under Protocols for MMS URLs there are three boxes: deselect "RTSP/UDP " and "RTSP/TCP " leave only "HTTP " checked 8) Click "Apply " 9) Click "OK " 10) Close Windows Media player and verify your course is running properly |
