White Screen when launching training


Symptoms:

    When launching the training from your CD or Media Point, you get a white screen that may or may not have an error icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen

Detailed Information:

    This issue is caused by something in Adobe Flash Player not liking the Active X control for Flash on your computer.

    It will come up to a White screen and go no further

Solution:

    Here is what you need to do for the White Screen Issue for each computer affected
    1. Click on Start
    2. Click on Control Panel
    3. Double Click on Add/Remove Programs
    4. Click on Remove for the Adobe FlashPlayer ActiveX – Should automatically delete
    5. Close Control Panel and Add/Remove Program Windows after it deletes
    6. Log back in and launch your training again
    7. Watch the training window
    8. You may get a tan bar at the top asking about installing Active X – Right Click and choose Install
    9. Adobe Flash Player installer will come up – Click on Install
    10. Screen will flicker while it installs and then will automatically start playing the Flash videos after it is done
