Media Player standard fix


Symptoms:

    Video training hangs at loading Media for either online or CD.
    Video is choppy.
    Audio is choppy.
    Audio does not match the talking of the person

Detailed Information:

    Windows Player hardware compression is Media Player is needed for the Learnkey Training. There are times that the hardware or Mediaset to high to run correctly.

Solution:

    1) Open Windows Media Player by clicking Start>Programs>Windows Media Player
    2) Click the Tools menu. This may be hidden. If you move the cursor to the top of the window the menu should appear
    3) Click Options
    4) Click the Performance tab
    5) Near the bottom of that Window there is a video acceleration slider. Move the slider to a lower setting (recommend the slider being in the middle),
    6) Click on Apply
    7) Click the Network tab
    8) Near the top of the page under Protocols for MMS URLs there are three boxes – uncheck RTSP/UDP and RTSP/TCP leave only HTTP checked
    9) Click on Apply
    6) Click OK
    7) Close Windows Media and test the training
