Codebase Errors


Symptoms:

    When launching the training, a codebase error may appear.

Detailed Information:

    If the computer is shut down (power outage, or improper shutdown) while the program is still running, codebase errors will be displayed the next time the training is launched. The Initializing Please Wait screen may also appear.

Solution:

    1) Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop
    2) Double-click on the C drive
    3) Double-click on the Program Files folder
    4) Double-click on the LearnKey folder
    5) Single-click on the Velocity folder
    6) Press the DELETE key on your keyboard
    7) Click on YES
    If the folders do not all exist, make a note of it and go on

    Take the CD out of the CD-ROM drive and then Reboot your computer and do the following to re-install the disks:
    1) Insert the Learnkey CD in your CD ROM drive
    2) Wait for a minute and see if a User Agreement pops up. If it does, skip to step 7. If it does not, move to step 3.
    3) Double-click on My Computer
    4) Double-click on your CD-ROM drive
    5) If a window with folders and icons in it opens up, double click on Setup.exe (or a shortened version of that)
    6) Click on I AGREE if a User Agreement comes up. Otherwise go to the next step,
    7) Click on INSTALL
    8) Allow the program to install and then click OK when it tells you the program is installed
    9) Follow the rest of the instructions as they come up
